Privacy
This page covers the website, gamemod.ai, and the list for GameMod's beta. The app will get its own section here before accounts open.
Who keeps your data
GameMod. Write to info@gamemod.ai about anything on this page.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join the beta list. You type it into the form behind the download buttons. We also note which system you picked (macOS, Windows or Linux) and when you signed up.
- Your IP address, for 10 minutes. Like every website, ours sees it. The sign-up form keeps it in memory for 10 minutes to stop people flooding the list, then forgets it. We don't keep logs of visits.
That's all. The website has no analytics, no ads and no tracking cookies, and it loads nothing from other companies.
Why
To email you when the beta opens. We use your address for nothing else. We keep it because you asked us to by sending the form (your consent), and you can take that back at any time.
Who else sees it
We don't sell or share it. It's stored on our server, which Hetzner hosts for us in Germany. When we send the beta email, an email delivery service will handle your address for that email only. We'll name it here before we use it.
How long we keep it
Until 12 months after the beta opens, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. Our nightly backups are kept for 14 days, so a removed address is gone from them 14 days later.
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, have it deleted, or have us stop using it. Write to info@gamemod.ai from the address you signed up with, and we'll do it within a month. If you think we've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes too. If a change affects how we use your email, we'll tell you before it applies.
